Experiential Learning Beyond the Classroom

As part of the Kaushal Bodh initiative introduced by CBSE, the students of Grade VI enthusiastically participated in their first skill-based learning activity through an educational visit to the local vegetable market. Under the able guidance and supervision of Ms. Madhavi, TGT Science, the students explored different vegetables, interacted with vendors, observed practical aspects of buying and selling, and gained valuable knowledge about nutrition, pricing, and daily life skills. The visit provided students with a wonderful opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-life experiences while developing observation, communication, and analytical skills. Such experiential learning activities help nurture confidence, awareness, and practical understanding among students.
