A new chapter of collaborative learning and professional excellence began today at International Delhi Public School, Ghou Manhasan, with the successful commencement of our special teacher training initiative, “Pedagogy in Practice".
The first day witnessed inspiring presentations by the Hindi, Science, and Information Technology (IT) Departments. Teachers from Kindergarten to Grade IX showcased their innovative teaching methodologies, classroom strategies, and student-centred approaches, highlighting how meaningful learning can be created through effective pedagogy.
The session provided a wonderful platform for educators to observe, reflect, and learn from one another. Each presentation reflected creativity, dedication, and a commitment to enhancing classroom practices, making the experience enriching and professionally rewarding for everyone present.

As part of our Fusion 2.0 Summer Camp, students participated in an enriching Beauty & Wellness Workshop designed to help them understand the importance of self-care, personal hygiene, confidence, mindfulness, and overall well-being.
Through engaging activities and meaningful interactions, our young learners discovered that wellness is not just about looking good—it is about feeling good, thinking positively, and nurturing oneself from within.
Our students had a wonderful and fun-filled last working day with an engaging Healthy Eating & Wellness Awareness Workshop organized by Bragit in collaboration with the Cornitos Nachos team.
The session focused on creating awareness among children about healthy eating habits, balanced nutrition, hydration, fitness, and smart munching choices. Students were also introduced to the newly launched Cornitos Crusties Puff in exciting flavours, which they thoroughly enjoyed tasting.
The workshop became even more exciting with interactive games, energetic activities, and a lively Green Tug of War session that filled the atmosphere with laughter and joy.
It was truly an informative, energetic, and memorable experience for our students as they learned the importance of wellness while having lots of fun with their friends and teachers.

Under the Kaushal Bodh Initiative, IDPS Ghoumanhasan proudly organized an exciting and interactive No-Flame Culinary Workshop for students. The workshop was conducted by Chef Sudhin, Executive Chef at Vivanta Jammu City Centre, who shared his culinary expertise and inspired students with creative cooking techniques.

International Delhi Public School, Ghou Manhasan successfully conducted an engaging workshop on “Mind the Gap: Understanding Yourself and Your World” by esteemed resource person Mr. Amitash Ojha, Associate Professor & HOD Humanities and Social Sciences (IIT Jammu).
The session was highly interactive, insightful, and thought-provoking, where students actively participated and explored the importance of self-awareness, understanding society, and developing a broader perspective towards the world around them.
Through meaningful discussions and real-life examples, students gained valuable knowledge, confidence, and clarity about understanding themselves and making informed choices in life. The workshop truly inspired young minds and encouraged critical thinking in an engaging manner.

Today, our young learners of Grades 1 and 2 attended an engaging Oral Hygiene Workshop focused on building healthy dental habits from an early age. International Delhi Public School, Ghoumanhasan, conducted Sanjh Sanskriti under the banner of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, highlighting not just India’s cultural diversity but also the importance of sustainability and heritage preservation. The workshop focused on the endangered Calico art form of Samba, once practiced by skilled artisans of the region. Ms. Jyoti, the resource person, guided students through its history, technique, and cultural significance, offering a deeply enriching hands-on experience that connected young minds to their roots. Conducted under the aegis of INTACH, Jammu Chapter, the workshop saw enthusiastic participation from students of Heritage School, Jammu Sanskriti, APS Samba, APS Jammu Cantt, APS Damana, IDPS Akhnoor, Carmel Convent, KB Public School, DBN Amarvilla, and IDPS Ghoumanhasan. Sanjh Sanskriti marked a meaningful step towards preserving Jammu’s artistic heritage and inspiring the next generation with pride and awareness.
