Walk for a Drug-Free Future Nasha Mukti Awareness Rally

International Delhi Public School, Ghou Manhasan organised a “Walk for a Drug-Free Future” – Nasha Mukti Awareness Rally as a meaningful initiative to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a healthy, responsible and drug-free society. The rally was conducted in the spirit of the Nasha Mukta Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyaan, a nationwide campaign launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to strengthen youth participation and public awareness in the fight against substance abuse. The rally was flagged off in the gracious presence of Shri Mukhter Ahmed, SDM Marh, and Hon’ble Shri Surinder Kumar, MLA Marh, whose presence encouraged and motivated our young participants. With great enthusiasm and commitment, our students raised powerful Nasha Mukti slogans, spreading the message of NO to drugs and YES to life. Investiture Ceremony

A Grand Setting for a Greater Responsibility. A stage set for leadership, a moment meant to inspire. As we gathered to celebrate the Investiture Ceremony at IDPS Ghoumanhasan, we were honoured to welcome our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Ravinder Singh, Superintendent of Police, Rural (JKPS), and our Guest of Honour, Prof. (Dr.) Savita Nayyar, Professor, Department of Law & Director, Centre for Women’s Studies, University of Jammu. Their gracious presence added dignity and inspiration to this momentous occasion as we witnessed our young leaders embrace the mantle of responsibility and leadership. Life Skills Activity – Learning for Life

Today, the students of Grades III and IV at International Delhi Public School, Ghou Manhasan enthusiastically participated in an enriching Life Skills Activity aimed at developing independence, confidence, and essential everyday skills. Our young learners explored a variety of practical activities, including: Table Etiquettes Hanging and Folding Clothes Peeling and Shelling Dough Making and Kneading Shoe Cleaning, Sock Folding, and Shoelace Tying The activity was a wonderful blend of learning and fun. Scouts & Guides Pravesh Camp

Our school successfully organized a two-day Scouts and Guides Pravesh Camp on 27th & 28th April in the school premises. The camp was conducted by the resource persons Ms. Ranjana Gandotra and Mr. Haroon Malik, under the guidance of Teacher In-charge Mr. Ashutosh (Skating Coach). During the camp, students learned about the history of Scouts and Guides, the importance of the Ashoka Chakra, and proper saluting and facing directions. Our students proudly participated in the prestigious Flower Show at SKUAST, Jammu, presenting an exquisite display of diverse and vibrant flower arrangements. Their creativity, aesthetic sense, and understanding of different floral varieties were beautifully reflected in their thoughtfully curated exhibit.
